OK seriously. I am very behind on my post. I will sum things up as much as I can. We had Reed on June 3, 2009. Reed Taylor Odom. Our house sold the day after we had him. Came home from the hospital only to pack our stuff up and move out 6 weeks later into my sister and brother in law's house. We lived there for 6 weeks and decided we were too crowded and lived with Robbie's parents for a while...6 more weeks to be exact. We are now living with my mom and dad for now and are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel with our house building. We are in the very end stages now and hoping to move in the next few weeks. Anyway, once we get into our house and get our computer I will upload some pictures of the whole family. I am sorry for being so behind on my posts but will do my best on keeping everyone updated. Love--The Odom Family

Oh My Goodness!! We are so behind on our posts!!! To update everyone, I am 3 days from delivering our second child. We will be naming him Reed Taylor. We are very excited to see him. Olivia has mixed thoughts. I guess which is completely normal for any 2 1/2 year old. At first she told everyone she was having a baby sister and didn't want anything to do with having a brother and would argue with you when you tried to explain to her that it was a BOY! Now, she is very happy it is a boy. I am glad because Olivia really probably needs the girl attention. She is turning into a little "princess". She loves to wear dresses and "eye eels" as she calls them. Olivia is starting bible school tonight at Middlesettlements Methodist tonight and I am so excited that she is going. I know she will love it. Keep us in your prayers and will keep everyone updated on our sweet little boy due to arrive in 3 days....or less. Love~ The Odom Family (Robbie, Vanessa, & Olivia)

We went to the Pumpkin Patch at Maple Lane Farms on October 18, 2008 and we had a blast!! We went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkin. Olivia was so upset when the tractor dropped us off because she had so much fun riding on it. We finally found our pumpkin and Olivia found a couple more at checkout. I thought she did pretty good considering she hadn't napped ALL day:( We decided to hold off on carving our pumpkin until she was in a better mood. The hayride was great and we can't wait to do it again next year!!

Going to the Shriner's Circus!

I am so sorry that we haven't updated our site in a while. We have been extremely busy around here. These pictures were taken when we went to the Shriner's Circus at Thompson Boling Arena on October 12, 2008. We went with some friends and their kids. This was Olivia's first circus experience. It was definitely an experience. She wanted to run all over the place and it was just too crowded. She was pretty interested in the circus at first then wanted to color in her coloring book the rest of the time. All in all we had a good time.

We're Expecting!!

Well, just to let everyone know, Robbie and I are expecting baby #2. I am 7 weeks and I have known since September 29. It has been so hard to keep it from everyone, especially at work. We told our families a week after we found out. Our plan was to wait until I was about 10 or 12 weeks to tell everyone, but I cracked under pressure at work today....thanks to Paula and Kaci. I am kind of glad they did it though because I was about to explode. Robbie and I are very excited and cannot wait. We pray for a healthy pregnancy and are looking forward to everything to come. I am so glad that I can finally share this information with my great friends. Keep checking our blog for updates and pictures. Keep us in your prayers and will talk to you all soon :)

Foothills Fall Festival 2008

Olivia and I went to the kid's section of the Fall Festival on Saturday. Unfortunately, Robbie had to work and was unable to make it. I took plenty of pictures so that Robbie can see how much fun she had. She was very excited about getting a balloon. The one in the picture was her first one. We ended up with three by the time the day was over. She couldn't quite figure it out that when she let go it would float away. She would watch it in the sky and want to go get another one. As you can see by most of my pictures, it is so hard to get a picture of her face because she is always on the go. When I get her face she doesn't really know what to do. We are still working on smiling and saying "cheese". She loved the slides and especially the pile of gravel that Blount Excavating had set up. I had to take her away from it though, she kept throwing it everywhere and I am almost sure a couple of people had to walk away to flush out their eyes...OOPS! And then there is the ice cream. What can I say? She is just like her mother....you all will know what I mean when you look at the ice cream picture. We really had a great time and are so glad that we can share this fun time with all of our friends! Have a great day!

Olivia's First Haircut!

Olivia's hair has really been growing a lot. More so in the back. her bangs, however, are getting longer and longer by the minute. I always said I never wanted to cut them because I want them to grow out so we don't have to deal with having hair in her eyes later. It got to the point we gave in. She did really good with it. She is so cute. Her little face looks so much rounder now...I Love it!!
